March School Holidays Part 2 - A Trip to Genting
Part 2 of the March holidays we went to genting with my granny and her sisters and family. There were 2 cars driving up and one of them was us. Granny sat with us in the car. Daddy scared that his car couldn't make it to Genting as his car was quite small cc. Anyway we still drove up together with 7 seater car. I brought along my yoshi which I mentioned earlier in my post on "Disney On Ice" to Genting to accompany me to sleep.
I was wondering whether was it my imagination, the sky in Malaysia looked especially white and blue. In Singapore, we can mostly see blur sky. We seldom can see such clear sky.
Drove for nearly 1 hour and granny said we would stop by Yong Peng. It was a small foodcourt with a restaurant and some small shops. The place was quite dirty and there were many big houseflies! I had never seen such big houseflies in Singapore! When I was eating the noodles, one housefly even dropped into my soup! SO disgusting! Yuck!
See the haze? Mummy said it was clouds!
Our hotel was the colourful one. Look quite old though....
SO cute right?!
So we met the relatives at the custom and drove up together. The highway in Malaysia was so long that I grew so bored and began to play with my NDS. Daddy drove and drove and I realised that he had to pay something along the way using a cashcard. Then he explained that we had to pay money in order to use the road just like Singapore's ERP.

Daddy was not worried about the houseflies. He was contented with a can of icy coke! Ahhh....
We saw this weird cockroach outside the foodcourt on the wall. Usually it was fat and long. But this cockroach was so thin and long! Maybe too many houseflies eating the food so this cockroach got no chance to snatch the food?! hahahaha....
Endless of roads again...time to get a nap...yawn~~~
And then, finally we reached the foot of Genting Highland. And daddy said we should off the air con so that the car's engine would be better and stronger. I was worried that it would be quite hot but then when we wind down the window, it was so cooling like in an air con place! Amazing!
See the haze? Mummy said it was clouds!
We were in the clouds! Hooray!!!
Finally we reached Genting Highland! It was cold!
Along the way up, we saw a number of houses. Daddy said they were hostels for backpackers and Granny said there was a kitchen to each house! How nice! Our hotel was just a small room with a small bathroom.

See? I was in the clouds! It was so cold! The clouds came and passed very quickly. After I took this picture, they were gone!
The older folks went to Casino to play as usual. Me and my parents went to explore the "believe it or not!" exhibition. There were many weird things and they were real! Some were quite scary though with the models looking so real!
A look from the sky train, you can see the rides.
Now this was very scary! The people sitting would be raised to the top of the tower and dropped suddenly to the midway! SO scary! I will never ever try this game!
I took this photo for them. Nice shot yah?!
Look at my collections from Genting! This bag was very cheap compare back to local price!

And this was the fattest red indian in the world! See mummy always complain that she is fat. Yet she looked so small size standing beside this statue! hahahaha....
Now these 2 statues were from Africa. They were king and queen of fertility. Many stories were told that if women wanted baby and they just had to touch these 2 statues. The dream would come true. Mummy and daddy were delighted and they went to touch them too. Hopefully I can have a baby brother or sister soon! yeah!!
Argh!! The books were falling! Quick daddy catch them steadily!
Amazing! This was actually a model of a Russian Palace which the real one was built by the order of Ivan the Terrible Tsar many years ago. And it was made up of matchsticks only!

Believe it or not!
We took a sky train ride and took some photos. This was a space craft.

This game was so much better for me! hahaha.....
Did I mention that that my grandaunt's 3 daughters who were my daddy's cousins are almost the same age as me?! The youngest is the same age as me! We played arcade games together with their maid taking care of us while daddy and mummy went to casino for a look.
See the red blouse girl is Jade. She is my youngest auntie. But I never call them aunties lah....very weird leh... I just call them by their names. Hehe...
Pony turn-around ride! That was my favourite! I remember back in Hong Kong Disneyland I also went to take the ride so many times! haha....
This Marrybrown fast food restaurant was selling fried chicken just like KFC. But they were much more delicious and more other ingredients too. You can't find it in Singapore!
Too-too train! I love this very much although it meant for smaller kids lah...But imagine the fun I had when I pulled the handle and the train went "too-too'....
Look at this! SO funny right!
I took this photo for mummy when both of us were taking the ferris wheel ride. Someone said she looked like a student... =_="
Mummy scare of cold just like me...
The next morning granny woke us early to eat dim sum at this restaurant. Luckily we went early and just as we finished the food, there were crowds outside queuing up already.
I took this photo for them. Nice shot yah?!

My pretty cute gloves...
This comic also very cheap!
Haha! Barbie new cartoon! I'm a collector of Barbie's cartoons!
The last morning granny and her sister brought us to eat home style breakfast at the workers' canteen. It was funny when I saw the 2 buns different sizes!
Even the hot tea also had different sizes. Mine was the big one while granny had the small cup. She said she didn't want to drink so much and end up keep finding toilet on the way home! haha
After seeing the Budhha, we drove back home. It was a nice weather and we thought of stopping by Malacca to eat chicken rice. But somehow the time was not early as daddy said we need to pick up coco from the pet's hotel before 8pm so we procceded back to Singapore. We stopped by a Petrol kiosk and there was fast food there. End up we had our tea break at A&W there.
End of the journey! I hope to go there again but daddy said he didn't want to drive up to Genting anymore! Sob sob....

Nearly halfway down through the Genting Highland, we saw a temple at the side and went in to take a look.
